How to join Heart of Dixie

Come to any open meeting of HOD (usually the second Saturday of each month) and visit. Please contact our Membership Chair for exact meeting times, location and dates, since they are subject to change from time to time. Non-members may attend two HOD chapter meetings before joining. If you like us, you may join by filling out a membership application and paying the $30 membership fee. In joining, you must indicate you have reviewed and agree to abide by the RWA Bylaws and Policies and Procedures (log-in required to view) in addition to Heart of Dixie Bylaws and Policies & Procedures. A copy of the most recent P&P may be requested from the Membership Chair.

New members who join in the last quarter of a calendar year will be paid through the following year. Renewal for existing members is $25 until the March meeting of each year at which time a $5 late fee is assessed.

HOD Members must be members of the Romance Writers of America© before they can join HOD . An application to join Romance Writers of America© can be found at http://www.rwanational.org. RWA Membership numbers must be provided within ten days of joining HOD.
